Qatar’s international reserves and foreign currency liquidity increased during August by 1.1 billion riyals on a monthly basis to 242.7 billion riyals ($66.7 billion), according to country’s central bank announcement.
Qatar’s monthly foreign reserve growth last month supported an increase in Doha’s investment in international treasury bonds by 1.5 percent to about 139.7 billion riyals, along with an increase in foreign currency liquid assets to 58.8 billion riyals.
