Qatar Energy to sign LNG supply deal with Bangladesh over 15 years

Qatar State Energy Company, Qatar Energy, will sign a contract on Thursday to supply 30 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Bangladesh, at two million tons per year for 15 years from the beginning of 2026, CNBC reported.

Qatar Energy is currently increasing its LNG production by 64 percent to 126 million tons per year by the end of 2027 after the completion of the development of the first and second stages of the North Gas Field.
