Porsche Invests €450,000 In Egypt

SMG to open new Porsche dealership in 6th of October City, Abu Rawash

Managing director of Engineering Automotive Corporation (SMG) Ibrahim Ghattas said Porsche will invest €450,000 in the construction of dealerships in Egypt.

SMG is currently displaying the company’s new production line, “Porsche Macan”. The Macan Turbo is equipped with a 3.6-litre V6 biturbo engine and delivers an output of 400 HP (294 kW).

Ghattas added that SMG plans to launch a new Porsche dealership in 6th of October City during the coming three weeks. The corporation also plans to launch another dealership in Abu Rawash.

The new production line is “Made in Germany”, produced at the Leipzig plant. Porsche has invested around €500m into the site, expanding it into a plant with its own body shell construction facility and paint shop. The new production line is expected to produce around 50,000 vehicles per year.
