Philip Morris Egypt raises cigarette prices in Egypt

Philip Morris Egypt has raised prices on some of its brands, including Marlboro, L&M, and Merit, the company announced in a statement on Monday.

The new prices take effect on Monday.

The average price of a pack of Marlboros – of different kinds (Red, Gold, and Purple Mix) is now 44 Egyptian pounds ($2.81).

The average price of a pack of Merits – of different kinds is now 48 pounds ($3.07).

The average price of a pack of L&Ms – of different kinds (Red, Blue, Silver, and Forward) is now 33 pounds ($2.11).

The company also decided to keep the prices of other brands; Marlboro Crafted and L&M Motion unchanged.

The average price of a pack of Marlboros Crafted – of different kinds (Red and Gold) is 36 pounds ($2.30).

The average price of a pack of L&Ms Motion – of different kinds (Red and Blue) is 28 pounds ($1.79).
