Chinese smartphone maker OPPO is donating 5 million Egyptian pounds ($308,362) in form of food boxes to support thousands of Egyptian families hurt by the coronavirus pandemic.
Eve Han, Brand Director of OPPO Egypt, said: “The coronavirus is a global pandemic that has infected millions all over the world. In Egypt, thousands of families are affected; and as a vital part of the Egyptian society, contributing to the growth of the community, we believe it is our responsibility to help, support and care for the families who are going through hard times.”
Over the past few weeks, OPPO had distributed 15,000 food boxes all over Egypt to those in need, Han said, adding that the company promises more corporate social responsibility activities for the better development of the country.
