Nofoth Hammad, the youngest Palestinian held hostage in Israeli prisons, was released on Monday, press reported.
According to WAFA news agency, Hammad was set to be released on Saturday, however, in clear violation of the terms for the exchange of prisoners, the Israeli occupation authorities re-arrested her.
According to her father Jad Hammad, from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces assaulted and beat his daughter while she was being transported to Jerusalem.
She was then transferred to Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem to be treated from the injuries she sustained during the Israeli attack on the child.
Her father said he was not given permission to visit her in the hospital and was never informed about her situation.
He also said that the occupation authorities took her out of the hospital and returned her to prison.
Hammad embraced freedom from the Israeli prisons on Monday. after she was arrested two years ago.
At the age of 14, Hammad was taken from her school under the pretext of assaulting one of the settlers and sentenced to 12 years in prison.
