NERO Electronics is taking part in Egypt Energy 2022 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC) from October 30 to November 1.
At booth H4.H41, the company said in a statement that it will showcase its all-around solution for smart metering of electricity, gas, and water. In the current global agenda with rapidly changing global conditions and increasing resource tariffs, control and conscious consumption of electricity, gas and water is an actual topic for enterprises, real estate developers and communal services companies, ordinary citizens.
NERO metering automation solution for electricity, gas and water includes not only smart residential metres with communication technologies, but also a complete and easily scalable turnkey system with concentrators, IoT-platform for data processing and visualisation, support for setting up and starting the system. This enables users to effectively control the resources consumed, optimise and potentially reduce utility bills.
Smart Electricity Meters include various models; Single-Phase Multi-Tariff Electricity Meter in retro-design and modern form-factor, Three-Phase Multi-Tariff Electricity Meter. The phase type of the metre is determined by the type of power supply. The device records, collects, and transmit data to remote reading system. Features rely on the model and specifications, communication interfaces. NERO said it has developed unique Smart Meter Protocol that is both: functional enough for all electricity parameters and perfectly light weight to suit LPWAN requirements.
Smart Water Meters by NERO are represented by two models based on proprietary technologies. The first is Smart Hot & Cold Water Meters that collect and send readings remotely owing to their built-in LPWAN radio technologies. They inform the operator about unauthorised activities and allow tracking statistics and balance. The second is Ultrasonic Hot & Cold Water Meters with high-precision metrology and ultrasonic technology, built-in modern LPWAN radio technology modules for sending readings, archiving and self-diagnostic system provide an advanced option in automated water metering systems.
Smart Gas Meters operate based on ultrasonic technology with a unique mathematical algorithm for digital signal processing, the company added. When the gas flow rate changes, the speed of the ultrasonic pulse changes as well. This speed is measured and converted into volumetric flow data, it said.
“The device automatically sends readings to the operator due to the built-in LPWAN radio technology module. At the same time, the metre maintains a data archive and is equipped with monitoring and diagnostics systems.”
NERO Electronics regularly takes part in international exhibitions. The company’s high-quality technological products constantly attract the interest of business visitors.
