Egyptian and Jordanian governments plan forming a high-level committee to study unifying prices of exporting phosphate to India.
Head of Arab and African Cooperation sector at Egyptian international cooperation ministry, Fathi Abdel Azim stated Wednesday that unifying exports prices would achieve profits for both sides.
The official made these remarks amid the conclusion of the Preparatory Meetings For The Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Committee.
During the Preparatory Meetings, Jordanian side urged its Egyptian counterpart to unify Egyptian and Jordanian phosphate exporting prices to India, Abdel Azim adde, noting that Egypt did not made a decision about this request.
Both sides agreed on forming the committee since it would study exporting prices between two states as well as reaching decisions that achieve profitability for Egypt and Jordan , the official added.
