Israel managed to kill 53 journalists in Gaza during its seven-week long attacks on Gaza, Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) reported on Wednesday.
According to CPJ, 50 Palestinian journalists were targeted in the attacks along with three Lebanese.

Ibrahim Mohammad Lafi
Palestinian photographer for Ain Media. He was shot and killed at the Gaza Strip’s Erez Crossing into Israel on Oct. 7.
Mohammad Jarghoun
Palestinian journalist for Smart Media. He was shot east of Rafah city on Oct. 7.
Mohammad Al-Salhi
Palestinian Photojournalist for the Fourth Authority news agency. He was shot dead in central Gaza Strip on Oct. 7.
Assaad Shamlakh
Palestinian freelance journalist, killed by an Israeli airstrike targeting his home on Oct. 8.
Hisham Alnwajha
Palestinian journalist with Khabar news agency. He was killed during an Israeli airstrike on area housing several media outlets in Gaza’s Rimal district on Oct. 10.
Mohammed Sobh
Palestinian photographer for Khabar news agency. He was killed with Alnwajha during the same strike on Oct. 10.
Saeed al-Taweel
Palestinian editor-in-chied at Al-Khamsa News website. He was killed along with both Alnwajha and Sobh during the same airstrike on Oct. 10.

Palestinian journalist for Al Aqsa Radio. He was killed during an Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza on Oct. 13.
Salam Mema
Palestinian journalist and head of Women Journalists Committee at the Palestinian Media Assembly. Her body was found on Oct. 13, though she was killed by an Israeli airstrike three days prior.
Yousef Maher Dawas
Palestinian writer for Palestine Chronicle and a writer for We Are Not Numbers (WANN). He was killed in an Israeli airstrike on his home north of Gaza on Oct. 14.
Abdulhadi Habib
