Int’l Energy Forum for Latest World Oil Issues kicks off

The 13th International Energy Forum is launched in Kuwait, on Tuesday, with the participation of more than 80 countries and the presence of more 45 ministers of oil to discuss the latest world energy issues.
Kuwait’s Minister of Oil Hani Hussein welcomed the participants with a speech in which he stressed the importance of such event to tackle sensitive issues regarding the stability of oil prices worldwide.
The first session of the forum focused on “energy business” where the participants shed light on future energy investments. Later today, participants would go to Bayan Palace where His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah would deliver a welcoming speech to officially kick off the event. A lunch banquet would follow; then the forum would resume its scheduled sessions.
The second session would discuss means of national and international cooperation amongst oil companies. Another session would highlight meeting future energy demands and proper planning for future investments in energy field.
First day of the forum’s activities would conclude with the ministers of oil exchanging points of view on how to handle current oil and energy challenges.
