The Egyptian Ministry of Industry’s delegation will visit the USA at the end of Q1, 2013, to study signing a free trade agreement between the two countries, said Hatem Saleh, Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade.
In his statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Hatem Saleh said the government will pay a proactive visit, during which a Trade Facilitation Agreement will be signed, paving the way for the Free Trade Agreement.
The minister has warned of the continuity of the protests and suspending work in ports, by which the economy has negatively influenced and the growth rates of exports declined; referring to the significance of increasing the state’s incomes and injecting investments in tourism, investments and factories.
Saleha has elaborated that the foreign investments will not enter Egypt, as long as there is inconvenient economic climate for the foreign investor; underscoring the necessity of achieving the stability and security for the sake of investment.
