The Egyptian Industrial Development Authority (IDA) signed a cooperation protocol with Sohag governorate in order to complete providing facilities for 3 industrial areas in the governorate with total cost EGP158 million.
Minister of Industry and Trade Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour and Dr. Zaid Bahaa El-Din Minister of International Cooperation, General Mahmoud Ateeq, the Governor of Sohag have attended the singing.
Mahmoud Al-Garf, Chairman of IDA said the signing of protocol comes in the framework of the government’s plan to develop the industrial areas through Accelerating implementing ,developing and completing the facilities of roads, sewage, electricity and drinking water networks in Upper Egypt, Delta , Suez Canal Axis, Sinai, Greater Cairo governorates, aiming to provide facilities for these industrial areas.
The Governor asserted that the governorate is keen on supporting and helping all the investors in order to pump capitals and establish more industrial projects during the next phase to allure a large number of job opportunities.
He further said it is currently conducting the continuation and development of the industrial zones inside Sohag to attract investments and to push the industrial development wheel, as the governorate has recently granted approval to new 50 projects.
