India to inject more investments in Egypt; trade minister says

Egyptian Trade Minister Tarek Qabil and Indian Ambassador to Cairo Sanjay Bhattacharyya discussed Thursday pumping investments to into establishing Indian tea packing and packaging projects in Egypt.

The set-to-be produced Indian tea will be available in all consumer complexes and retail outlets and will be also exported to a number of markets, the minister stated.

The two parties talked over establishing strategic alliance to boost trade exchange between Egypt and India in food commodities field through exporting products of Food Industries Holding Company (FIHC) affiliates to India.

On other side, Ambassador Bhattacharyya emphasised on India’s keenness to enhance economic cooperation with Egypt, achieve more trade exchange, boost volume of investments in Egypt, in addition to exchange expertise in developing skills field.
