Hayah starts insurance brokerage activity in Egypt

Hayah Insurance Brokerage has officially started its insurance brokerage activity in Egypt, its chairman Maher Moustafa announced on Saturday.

This comes as part of the Egyptian government’s 2030 vision, which includes launching a major bundle of national projects in the Egyptian market, Moustafa added.

The move to establish a new company was backed by the increasing investment opportunities in the Egyptian insurance market given the recent giant national projects launched by the government.

Last week, Hayah Insurance Brokerage received a three-year licence for insurance brokerage activity from the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA). The licence is valid until December 2022.
