Egypt’s state-owned construction firm, Hassan Allam says it started executing the interior finishing works of Ministry of Justice’s building at the ministerial district in the country’s new capital city.
At a cost of one billion Egyptian pounds ($55.8 million), the massive building is spanning over 8,000 square metres, said the company’s managing director for financial affairs Atef Barbary on Wednesday.
“We will deliver the building within the next period,” Barbary told Amwal Al Ghad.
Hassan Allam was mandated to establish the building in various phases during 2017, he said, adding that the initial phases include the implementation of the concrete works, at a cost approaching 500 million pounds.
“The country is preparing to inaugurate the ministerial district by mid-2019,” Barbary said.
