The death toll in Gaza has surpassed the 18,200 barrier with more than 49,000 civilians severely wounded, Palestinian health ministry said on Monday.
Heavy Israeli bombardment raged on Monday in the bloodiest attack on Gaza ever.
On Sunday, Hamas warned that the remaining 137 hostages will not survive the vicious attacks unless Israel meets stops and frees more Palestinian hostages.
Israel urged Palestinians to seek refuge in the far south, however, the occupation forces continued to attack the areas it labeled “safe zones.”
Umm Mohammed al-Jabri, a Palestinian civilians caught in the Israeli bombardment, lost seven children in an airstrike on Rafah, south Gaza.
“I have four children left,” said Jabri, 56.
“Last night they bombed the house we were in and destroyed it. They said Rafah would be a safe place. There is no safe place,” she added.
