The number of the new exporters in the registries of the foreign trade sector reached 17 new exporters at the end of Q3 of 2012, at EGP 347 million costs.
Sources in the sector told Amwal Al Ghad that the number of the new exporters in 2011 reached 291 ones with total exporting value EGP 1.3 billion. This refers to decline in number of the new exporters between 2011 and 2012.
The ministry of industry and foreign trade measures the number of new exports through counting any exporter that hasn’t exported during the last three years and resuming the export in 2012.
