Gebali Al Maraghy, Chairman of Egypt Trade Union Federation (ETUF), has ordered a committee to investigate about the decision of closing Faragalla Group, which has some 27.000 workers, issued by its board chairman.
Without prejudice to the workers’ rights, who faced arbitrary firing, the ETUF Chairman confirmed; adding that he is for the legitimacy, and refuses extortion that being exercised by some outlaws against the nation’s interest and workers.
For his part, Khaled Elash , General Union for Workers in Food Industries, said he will make up a report for the crisis to be submitted to the union’s head and Ministers of Manpower and Investments.
He referred to how to treat the reasons that led to closing the factories, which are increasing the power’s prices, materials and taking the legal procedures against chaos doers inside the factories.
