Gebali Al Maraghy, Chairman of Egypt Trade Union Federation (ETUF), has met a high-ranking Norwegian delegation in order to deepen the relations between the two countries on the union level.
In his meeting with Katherine Fajewski, Deputy Chairman of International Relations, Fadel Thabet, Middle East Official, and the representatives of the Norwegian delegation said the ETUF keens on keeping the balanced relations with the other unions. It also keens on protecting its workers’ interests. The ETUF is still sticking to its principles and able to keep up development after the revolution of January 25.
He has underscored that the coming union elections will be under impartial international supervision; representative from the Global Union, International Labor Organization (ILO), Organization of African Trade Union Unity (OAU ) and the International Confederation of Arab Trade Union (ICATU).
The two sides discussed the mutual relations, and the Norwegian side asserted that it keens on understanding the interior states, so they came to Egypt to have a dialogue that rebuilds the mutual relations.
