Egypt will resolve all tax disputes for enterprises with annual revenue under 10 million Egyptian pounds by June, Rasha Abdel Aal, Acting Head of the Egyptian Tax Authority said during the Egyptian Tax Society Annual Conference in Alexandria.
She added that the Tax Authority started examining these accumulated files with the simplified peremptory tax system as applied in the law on Medium, Small and micro enterprises.
She explained that “we aim to complete the tax inspection work annually, through the expansion of electronic systems and taking advantage of some artificial intelligence applications”
As a key component of tax fairness and competitiveness, automated technologies, according to Deputy Minister of Finance for Tax Policy and Reforms Ramy Youssef, substantially aid in standardising tax transactions.
