Engineering Export Council records growth rate of 11% in Q1

Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC) announced that the sector has witness a growth rate of 11 percent during the first quarter of 2019/2020,  according to Maha Saleh, Executive Director.

She told Amwal Al Ghad on the side lines of HOTELIER SUMMIT that the Engineering Exports have increased by 17 percent during October 2019.

She added that there are some sectors that are witnessing growth during the last period and contributed significantly to the rise in exports of the sector, namely the electrical industries, household appliances and automotive components.

Saleh also noted that the Engineering Export Council of Egypt has focused on organising trade missions in order to increase the exports to the African market.

EEC is an organization that targets to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian Engineering products by providing export-related services to enhance marketing capabilities, strengthen human skills and eliminate obstacles, aiming to be the credible voice of the Egyptian Engineering community through increasing exports and achieving financial and membership sustainability.
