Egypt’s state-run El Shams for Housing and Development says it is seeking to launch a new public-private partnership (PPP) commercial flagship in Sixth of October City within 2020.
The project will be developed in partnership with a real estate developer, with expected investments approaching 700 million Egyptian pounds ($43.4 million), the firm’s chairman Mahmoud Maghawry said on Thursday.
“We are preparing to design the project, which is spanning over 40,000 square metres, within the next year,” Maghawry told Amwal Al Ghad.
The project is set to include one medical centre and five commercial malls, he added.
