A mission from Egypt’s Junior Business Association (EJB) participated in the Egyptian-Ukrainian business forum for the first time in ten years, Chairman Ahmed Mashhour stated Saturday.
During the forum, EJB held a discussion session with representatives of Egyptian firms as well as business and industry leaders so as to evaluate forum’s activities and follow-up its result.
The Ukrainian side discussed investment opportunities in a number of sectors notably food industries, dairy, wood products, agricultural equipment, and weaving and textiles, the official asserted.
He added that the Ukrainian side keens on cooperating with Egyptian Ministry of Military Production.
Mashhour pointed out to the importance of exerting more efforts to promote Egyptian products and raise Egypt’s exports to the Ukrainian market.
On other side, Egypt’s Ambassador to Kiev Hossam Eldeen Aly asserted that the embassy provides all means of enhancing Egypt’s trade and industry sector as well as all necessary information for Egyptian businessmen and firms about investment opportunities available in Ukrainian market.
Gamal Saad El Aguizy – Head of Egypt-Ukraine Business Council- added that the business forum is a good chance for deepening the direct cooperation ties with the Ukrainian companies.
He noted that the meeting of the Egyptian businessmen with representatives of Ukrainian firms reflected the economic, trade, and investment ties between Egypt and Ukraine.
Around 13 EJB member firms and representatives of 80 Ukrainian firms took part in the meeting to discuss mutual cooperation in a number of sectors notably tourism and trade.
