Egypt’s tourism development agency approves EGP 1.7b ’24-’25 budget

The Board of Directors of Egypt’s General Authority for Tourism Development, approved the Authority’s draft budget for the fiscal year 2024/2025, with total revenues estimated at 1.7 billion pounds, and a net profit of 1,130 million pounds, 18 per cent up from last year’s figures, according to a statement of the Egyptian Cabinet.

The current accommodation capacity has reached 103,500 hotel rooms, and 103,000 tourist accommodation units opened, in addition to 91,000 rooms and accommodation units currently being implemented, the statement said.
