Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index surging 0.70 percent to 10,656 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) added 0.26 percent to 1,964 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped advanced 1.21 percent to 12,843 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 edged 0.51 percent higher to 2,867 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 dipped 0.02 percent at 2,091 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 5.6 billion Egyptian pounds ($357.4 million) to close at 632.857 billion pounds on Tuesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Tuesday, the trading value has approximately reached 3.5 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 481 million securities executed 41,715 transactions.
