Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Sunday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index adding 0.26 percent lower to 11,009 points buoyed by Arab and foreign investors’ buying appetite.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) advanced 1.35 percent to 2,036 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.39 percent to 13,188 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 surged 1.116 percent to 2,981 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 grew 0.85 percent up to 2,196 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 2.1 billion Egyptian pounds ($134.3 million) to close at 638.587 billion pounds on Sunday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Sunday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.8 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 577.4 million securities executed 40,469 transactions.
