Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Sunday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index rising 0.42 percent to 10,890 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) climbed 2.03 percent to 2,108 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped hiked 0.97 percent to 13,188 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 surged 1.84 percent to 3,056 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 advanced 1.30 percent at 2,229 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 8 billion Egyptian pounds ($509.2 million) to close at 653.783 billion pounds on Sunday.

Also on Sunday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.7 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 389.7 million securities executed 40,825 transactions.
