Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index surging 0.22 percent lower to 11,019 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) grew 0.79 percent to 2,148 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.30 percent to 13,212 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 advanced 0.85 percent to 3,115 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 edged up 0.95 percent up to 2,269 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 3.6 billion Egyptian pounds ($229.6 million) to close at 655.126 billion pounds on Tuesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Tuesday, the trading value has approximately reached 3.2 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 622 million securities executed 57,625 transactions.
