Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index advancing 0.43 percent to 11,388 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) added 1.09 percent to 2,228 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped grew 0.57 percent to 13,813 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 hiked 0.96 percent to 3,225 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 rose 0.63 percent at 2,310 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 2 billion Egyptian pounds ($127.7 million) to close at 674.324 billion pounds on Wednesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Wednesday, the trading value has approximately reached 3.1 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 619.29 million securities executed 51,779 transactions.
