Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index tumbling 0.20 percent to 10,929 points amid local selloffs.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose 0.47 percent to 1,801 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped fell 0.55 percent to 12,613 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 went up by 0.26 percent to 2,661 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 dipped 0.08 percent to 1,932 points.

Total market capitalisation had registered losses worth around 2 billion Egyptian pounds ($126.8 million) to close at 609.212 billion pounds on Wednesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Wednesday, the trading value has approached 12.6 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost reached 361 million securities executed over 37,500 transactions.
