Egypt’s state-run Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals 2017 profits fall 21%

Egyptian state-owned Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company’s (Sidpec) profits dropped by 21 percent, registering 1.13 billion Egyptian pounds ($63.7 million), during 2017, announced financial statements on Sunday.

Earlier, profits increased to 1.42 billion pounds during 2016.

Revenues jumped to 5.018 billion pounds, compared with 3.4 billion pounds.
