Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Vienna on Sunday for a four-day official visit to take part in the high-level Africa-Europe Forum, co-hosted by Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.
President El-Sisi is to deliver an address at the forum to discuss Egypt’s efforts to push forward development in Africa.
A host of African and European leaders are taking part in the event, which aims to enhance African-European partnership.
Participants in the forum will hold a high-level dialogue under the title of ‘Taking Cooperation to the Digital Age.’
Regarding bilateral relations, President El-Sisi will hold talks with his Austrian counterpart and other senior officials as well as businessmen and investors on boosting cooperation in the trade, educational and scientific research, transport and investment domains.
On the sidelines of the forum, several round-table meetings will take place to discuss furthering African-European cooperation in the agricultural and technological domains and ways of ironing out hurdles to increasing cooperation between the two sides.
