Egypt’s private sector has secured $10.3 billion of official development assistance from 2020 to 2023, according to the annual report 2023 which published by the Ministry of International Cooperation on Sunday.
The report also revealed that the ministry secured a total of $28.5 billion for public sector dedicated to accelerating progress towards sustainable development in electricity, renewable energy, transportation, MSMEs, water, education, and health.
It is important to underscore that Official Development Assistance (ODA) secured by the Ministry of International Cooperation represents 16 percent of total external debt, according to Central Bank of Egypt’s statistics.
