Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) pumped investments of 34 billion Egyptian pounds in six new fourth generation cities to carryout infrastructure works and residential projects, according to a source with knowledge.
The source further told Amwal Al Ghad that these cities include New Alamien, New Mansoura, Hadabet Assiut, East Port Said, New Obbour and West Qena.
It will be pump 27.1 billion Egyptian pound investments in these same cities during the upcoming fiscal year.
He pointed out that the new Alamein came in the first place with a total expenditure of about 22 billion pounds, followed by the new Mansoura with a volume of spending of about 5 billion pounds, then Hadabet Assiut with investments of about 2.9 billion pounds and New Obour reaching 2.2 billion pounds, East Port Said and West Qena came last with the size of spending 1.2 billion pounds for the first, and 1.1 billion pounds for the later.
