Egypt’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), is implementing new projects in Beheira governorate with a total budget of four million Egyptian pounds, the Cabinet stated on Wednesday.
The projects involve renovating and maintaining two schools to improve educational facilities and creating job opportunities for approximately 4,000 people. These initiatives will benefit around 15,000 citizens, the statement said.
These projects are part of the MSMEDA’s ongoing collaboration with Beheira Governorate to address community needs and enhance infrastructure, according to the statement.
MSMEDA is also implementing infrastructure projects in other governorates as part of an agreement to address the root causes of irregular migration, funded by the European Union (EU).
