Egypt’s headline inflation eases to 30.6% in April

Egypt’s annual consumer inflation slowed down to 30.6 percent from 32.7 percent in March, according to data from the state statistics agency Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) released on Wednesday.

Month-on-month, urban inflation slowed to 1.7 percent from 2.7 percent in March and 6.5 percent in February.
