Egypt’s El Sewedy Electric unit signs deal to build transfer station

Egypt’s El Sewedy Electric for Trading and Distribution announced on Tuesday it has signed a contract of around 445 million Egyptian pounds ($25.9 million) to establish a transfer station.

The transfer station will be built in favour of Canal Sugar Co, an affiliate to UAE-based Al Ghurair Group, and will be delivered within ten months after signing the contract and the receipt of payment

Egyptian cable maker El Sewedy Electric owns 99.8 percent of El Sewedy Electric for Trading and Distribution.
