Egypt’s eFinance firm records 56% profit growth in Q2

The Egyptian payments firm eFinance has witnessed a net profit growth by 56.2 percent during the second quarter of this year to record 436.4 million Egyptian pounds, compared to 279.3 million pounds for the same period of 2022.

Total combined revenue grew 37.7 percent for April to June to reach 967.5 million pounds, compared with 702.5 million pounds for the comparative period, according to CNBC on Tuesday.

eFinance has cemented itself as an integral partner in the Egyptian government’s push for digitisation and has propelled the nationwide strategy forward by developing integrated platforms that are leading Egypt’s digital revolution.
