Egypt’s Delta Insurance premiums at $32.8 mln in nine months – sources

Egyptian Delta Insurance’s premiums totalled 521.8 million Egyptian pounds ($32.8 million) during the first nine months of the 2019/2020 financial year, said official sources in the firm on Wednesday.

Direct premiums recorded 519.5 million pounds during the first nine months of the current financial year, the sources further told Amwal Al Ghad.

Nine-month reinsurance premiums registered around 2.34 million pounds, they added.

“The company’s net premium portfolio reached 350.1 million pounds during the first nine months of the 2019/2020 financial year,” the sources said.
