Egypt’s state-run construction firm Arab Contractors (AC) studies carrying out a new residential flagship in Eritrea, announced its head of African sector Ibrahim Mabrouk on Wednesday.
This comes as part of AC’s scheme to expand its businesses in African markets, Mabrouk further said, adding that the new project will include the establishment of 3,000 various housing units.
“The company receives offers from a bunch of African countries to execute new residential projects,” he noted.
The Egyptian official clarified that his company is currently implementing the designs of Eritrea’s residential project.
Asked about AC’s more works, Mabrouk referred that the company has earlier carried out a bunch of other projects in some African states, including Equatorial Guinea.
“The company is currently carrying out other services projects in the African countries, besides the infrastructure works that capture the lion’s share out of the continent’s total business volume,” Mabrouk stated.
