Egypt’s Amer Group net profit soars 538% in H1

Egyptian real estate firm Amer Group reported on Thursday a 537.75 percent year-on-year boom in net profit for the first half of the year.

Net profit for the January to June 2021 period stood at 176.023 million Egyptian pounds ($11.2 million), up from 27.608 million pounds in 2020.

Revenues also rose to 1.25 billion pounds at the end of June 2021, from 690.31 million pounds in the same period in 2020.
