Egypt’s General Cooperative Association for Agriculture Reform has launched a policy tender among non-life insurance companies to cover its assets, said official sources on Thursday.
With a total sum insured of 140 million Egyptian pounds ($8.7 million), the policy will cover the association’s assets, projects, cars, and liabilities against risks related to fire and additional risks, the sources told Amwal Al Ghad.
The insurance policy includes coverage of damages from fire that may occur to the association’s premiums and properties, they said.
Also, the policy also encompasses coverage of fleet vehicles against damages from collision, fire, burglary, theft, and civil liability, the sources added.
