Egypt’s agricultural exports exceed 4.1mln ton in 5 months – minister

Egypt’s total agricultural exports reached about four million tons from the beginning of this year until June, recording an increase of 606,302 tons in the same period in 2022, said Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El-Sayyed El-Qusair on Friday.

The most important agricultural exports are citrus fruits, potatoes, fresh onions, sweet potatoes, pomegranates, garlic, strawberries, beans, tomatoes, and grapes, according to a report received by the minister from Ahmed El Attar, head of the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine.
