Egyptian Takaful Insurance (Property) posted a 5.5 percent year-on-year growth in investments at the end of last September, its vice-chairman said on Thursday.
Investments registered 1.528 billion Egyptian pounds ($94.9 million), up from 1.450 million pounds at the end of last June, El-Sayed Bayoumi added.
During the first quarter of the 2019/2020 financial year, the firm’s net investment income rose 35 percent to 42 million pounds versus 31 million pounds during the same period of the 2018/2019 financial year, Bayoumi said.
“Our total assets recorded 1.755 billion pounds against 1.655 billion pounds, marking a 6 percent increase,” he said.
