Egyptian-Nigerian trade conference kicks off today in Cairo

Nigeria–Egypt Trade Conference and Exhibition (NETCE) will begin on Monday, under the theme For Africa, By Africa, which aims to explore the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA).

The two-day conference is organised by the Nigeria-Egypt Cultural and Socio-Economic Forum (NECSEF) in collaboration with the Embassy of Nigeria in Cairo.

In addition to that the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) has participated in the organising under the auspices of the Egyptian government.

NETCE is providing limitless opportunities for Nigeria to enhance trade between the two countries to a new and enviable height, NECSEF’s president Mahmood Ahmadu, said.

Moreover, the conference will bring together government ministers, governors, ambassadors from Nigeria and Egypt along with over 300 delegates, visitors and exhibitors.

Businessmen and women from the two countries will engage in business-to business sessions, exchange ideas and attend exhibitions from participating Nigerian and Egyptian companies, showcasing their products and services.
