Egyptian Life Takaful- GIG posts $13.9 mln premiums in 9 months

Egyptian Life Takaful Company (GIG) posted premiums up to around 225 million Egyptian pounds ($13.9 million) during the first nine months of the 2019/2020 financial year, its managing director said on Saturday.

“We issued new collective policies to about 78 clients during the first nine months of the current financial year, with a total sum insured of 1.2 billion pounds,” Ramah Assad told Amwal Al Ghad.

The company paid nine-month compensation worth 257 million pounds, Assad added.
