A delegation comprising of 35 Egyptian companies and businesspeople will start an annual ‘Door Knock’ to the United Kingdom next November, Khaled Nosseir, British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA)’a chairman, announced Tuesday.
So far 20 businesspeople have confirmed their participation in the Door Knock mission, Nosseir added during a workshop took place in Cairo.
The delegation will represent companies working in local renewable energy, infrastructure, financial services, mega projects, and training sectors, he said.
Nosseir further said the ‘Door Knock’ mission to the United Kingdom aims to promote the investment opportunities in Egypt and to allure more British investors to invest in feeding industries for renewable sector.
The delegation is set to meet with British MPs, think tanks, and influencers to convey a message that the current situation in Egypt is reassuring, the Egyptian official stated.
