Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) has signed on Thursday a MoU with the Turkish-Arab Countries Business Association (TÜRAP) to cooperate in the medical tourism field and promote healthcare investment opportunities between both countries.

The MoU will facilitate the EHA’s access to 29 countries in the medical tourism sector, said chairman of the Authority Ahmed El-Sobky. He further stated that this cooperation will contribute to the economic growth and the provision of high-quality healthcare services to international citizens.

“Medical tourism has witnessed an unprecedented boom in terms of developing infrastructure and information technology of hospitals, enhancing medical capabilities, and providing full medical care to citizens,” El-Sobky mentioned.
