He added that Africa committee is focusing on promoting Egypt’s existence in East Africa.
El-Gabaly further told Amwal Al Al Ghad that the trade missions come within the framework of FEI’s plan to expand the Egyptian products in the African market and try to communicate with African countries to familiarize them with the Egyptian capabilities in the various industries, in addition to identify those markets as well as their needs.
He stressed that the increase in Egyptian exports requires the actual presence in the African market through the increased participation in exhibitions and organizing promotional missions, as well as the need to establish logistics centers and permanent exhibitions, especially that the African consumer and importer prefer the present goods.
Al-Gabali stressed the importance of establishing new companies in the African market. A company is currently being established for a number of exporters in Tanzania to bring in and promote Egyptian goods
He noted that the establishment of a fertilizer plant in Tanzania is currently under way, based on technical studies and feasibility studies.
