The Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS), the largest oil and gas conference and exhibition in North Africa and the Mediterranean, will take place at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Centre on February 11-13.

The event is held under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al- Sisi and with the support of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, EGPC, EGAS, EHCEM and GANOPE.

EGYPS 2020 is set to build on the success of previous editions, expecting more than 30,000 attendees from more than 60 countries convening for three days to engage in dialogue, build partnerships, and do business with local and international participants.

Growing in importance year after year, EGYPS 2020 will reflect growing global interest in the oil and gas industry’s prospects across the North African and Mediterranean region. EGYPS will host 37 national and international oil and service companies exhibiting at the Show.

Under the theme “Delivering the Energy Needs of Tomorrow”, the fourth edition of EGYPS will see industry leaders discussing developments and trends that will influence the strategies of companies investing in and operating in the region. It will showcase oil and gas innovations and technologies that will change the way these same companies operate their assets.

Petroleum Minister Tarek el-Molla, when asked about his aspirations for EGYPS 2020 said: ‘’EGYPS will continue as an Egyptian gateway to the world, to be acknowledged for the distinguished results and success stories witnessed by the oil and gas industry in Egypt during the recent period, opening new horizons to attract Arab and foreign investments.”

“The conference, as well, represents a good opportunity to review the measures that Egypt has taken in order to turn into a regional energy hub for trading oil and gas.’’

This year, the exhibition will span over 33,000 sqm of floor space with more than 450 exhibitors. The exhibition acts as a key enabler for bilateral trade, and features 14 official international country pavilions from Bahrain, Canada, Cyprus, China, France, Italy, Norway, Scotland, Spain, United Arab Emirates, UK, and USA. In addition, pavilions from Germany and India will participate this year for the first time.

The exhibition will also feature the global meetings programme, providing delegates and exhibitors a networking platform to arrange unlimited business meetings with the attendees. The attendees are from major NOCs, IOCs, EPCs, service and technology providers, consultants, manufacturers, and distributors in a dedicated and purpose built meeting area on the exhibition floor with full support from the onsite meetings concierge service.
